Every year, The Monster Project helps children recognize the power of their own imaginations and encourages them to pursue their creative potential...by drawing monsters!

As a part of a larger group (over 100 others) that includes model makers, paper crafters, designers, watercolorists, illustrators, metalworkers, sculptors, woodworkers, animators, etc; we were all paired up with monsters drawn by elementary school students. We then interpreted the monsters using our individual skill sets, with the intention of them being given back to the children. 

This yearly event continues to be one of the most rewarding collaborative projects I participate in.
